Stephen's Sausage Roll For Mac

Last week, McDonald’s launched its Christmas menu. As well as an outstanding Celebrations McFlurry and a spicy Jamaican Jerk Chicken Sandwich, the menu also features a Double Big Mac. I mean, that’s the stuff of dreams, surely?

Right now I am probing cautiously at a tower of sausages occupying the centre of a little grassy patch of land. I have been doing variations of this all morning because I am stuck on the second island of Stephen’s Sausage Roll official site. You’ve probably heard sausage chat on the sausage vine over the. You will see them for sale in all of the bake shops and cafes and of course at most pot lucks/parties, etc. There is usually the obligatory tray of sausage rolls to feast on. People really like them. Myself, I am not overly fond of shop bought sausage rolls. There are 100 calories in 1 sausage roll (38 g) of Patties Classic Party Sausage Rolls. You'd need to walk 28 minutes to burn 100 calories. The extravagant burger is made up of four 100% beef patties, a slice of cheese, lettuce, onion and pickles and of course not forgetting the unbeatable, tasty Big Mac sauce.

But fans have one complaint about the Double Big Mac. According to a number of Maccas fans, who have given the super-sized Big Mac a go, there’s not enough cheese in the burger. Despite the fact that there’s double the amount of meat, there’s still only the same amount of cheese as a regular Big Mac. I’m hardly a genius, but the maths is all wrong on this - even I know that.

Darren Izzard commented on Twitter, “One slice of cheese? Nah, that’s not working for me.” While Sammie Jo commented: “Be alright if that top burger wasn't going to be dry as hell. No sauce or cheese on them.”

Eek. Not enough sauce either?

But don’t panic, because Alan (John) Wilkinson has come up with a plan! He says if you request extra cheese and extra Big Mac Sauce on the customise menu, everything will be good in the world again. Plus, he says he wasn’t charged for either item.

Having just ordered one of these, try putting 'Extra Cheese' and 'Extra Big Mac Sauce' on in the Customise menu. The latter even seems to be free.
